Judging Criteria

Artistic Composition and Media Proficiency. Decisions rendered by the jury are final.

Prizes

Total 40 prizes are being awarded.

1. First Prize (5 Platinum Artist Award 1 in each category): ₹10,000 Cash + Art Materials worth rupees 2500 for each category from Art Lounge, Memento, Certificate.
2. Runner-Up (5 Diamond Artist Award 1 in each category): ₹5,000 Cash + Art Materials worth rupees 2000 for each category from Art Lounge, Memento, Certificate.
3. Golden Artist Award: (Total 10 awards among all the categories )Art Materials worth rupees 2000, for 10 artists in each category, Memento, Certificate. Each artist will get one acrylic colour set from The Elephant Brand worth rupees 600/- Best Portrait among Gold artist will be awarded Panda’s Kolsyn round brush set worth rupees 899/- Best Landscape will get Squisyn round brush set, worth rupees 849.

4. Silver Artist Award: (Total 20 awards among all the categories) Certificate and Mementos for 20 artists.

Only selected artworks will be chosen for display at Karnataka Chitrakala Parishath Galleries.

Commission

If an artwork is sold, 10% of the artwork price will be payable as commission to the organizer.

Entry Fee

1. ₹1000 for 1 Artwork
2. ₹1800 for 2 Artworks

Maximum Entries

2 Artworks per category. Participants may enter multiple categories.

Artwork Size Limit

Maximum 2×3 feet. Artworks larger than this may not be displayed.

 Original Artwork

Artwork should be original and not done in any workshop. If it so will not be accepted.

Submission Deadline for Outstation Artists

 Outstation artworks must reach the designated postal address by July 20th, 2024. Outstation artists will receive their painting after the exhibition at their own expenses. The academy will arrange the courier after 10 days of the exhibition.

* In station artists should drop the paintings on 26th of July at Karnataka Chitrakala Parishath between 2pm to 5 pm at gallery 1 and 2. And collect the paintings after the exhibition on 31^st of July at 7 pm.
